OUR HISTORY
Bertoncini Engineering was founded in 1965 by Luigi Bertoncini, with the aim of servicing the requirements of Western Australia's growing industrial sector. Quickly establishing a reputation for quality work, dependable delivery and competitive pricing, the business soon flourished.
Initially situated in South Terrace, South Fremantle, growing demand meant Bertoncini Engineering relocated to its current premises in Bibra Lake in 1975. The company combines a tradition of service and attention to detail with proven facilities and production techniques designed to meet the demand of today's industry.

JOSHUA TURNER
GENERAL
MANAGER
Joshua has almost 20 years of experience in fabrication and machining. He started as an apprentice in his early years as a machinist, to the progression of workshop supervisor and so forth to where he is today.

He is a family man with great morals and a hard-working individual who ensures all clients are cared for personally by going above and beyond to meet their expectations.

Joshua is a team player and a great contributor to our company; ensuring client satisfaction is number one.

LUIGI BERTONCINI
FOUNDER
Luigi Bertoncini was born in Lucca, Italy. At approximately 15 years of age he began his work with steel, in a factory called SMI in Fornaci di Barga, Italy as a machinist.
In 1955 he emigrated to Australia and came to Perth. He went to work at Australian Iron and Steel (ASI), Kwinana as a first-class machinist. With spirit of striving for a better life Luigi purchased a lathe and began to work from home after his shift at the ASI. As time passed his home business began to grow and in 1965 Bertoncini Engineering was born operating from many small rental units around Fremantle.
In the early 1970s Luigi purchased a workshop in Bibra Lake. 58 years on, the name Bertoncini Engineering is synonym for quality workmanship.
